I'm bragging today and this will be lengthy. I pray that this isn't my last Father's Day with you on Earth. I thank you for being an amazing dad to me and a wonderful father figure to my son. I know you are not perfect but God made you perfectly for me. Through every milestone in my life, you have been there and I'm not ashamed to say that this was my prayer that I asked for the moment I realized that everyone has a time limit here on Earth. Thank you for witnessing my graduations, my proms, and walking me down the aisle. You gave me a beautiful wedding even when I wanted something small, just to the wrong man but you didn't fight me on my mistake. You knew I had to learn from this. That father-daughter dance will forever be planted in my memory. You showed me what love is which is why no man can treat and handle me any way he thinks he can. You witnessed me purchase my first house on my own, you were there to see my son be born. You encourage and helped me in my career journey when others weren't there. You never let me go without anything. You showed and taught me the difference between being blessed and someone being spoiled. I have only one thing left for you to witness because I knew this was the main entity for you. Walking the stage to get my Masters's degree. You don't know this, but I plan on telling you this when it's done. I was determined to finish this degree if the radiation didn't work in our favor. I decided to do a full load at a time while working full time, working after school, and doing summer school. After this summer, I only have two classes left. Your baby girl holds a 3.83 GPA and will be done in December with a concentration in Applied Digital Learning. This one is for you dad. 🔥🎓
