For this appointment we did a classic full highlight. I root tapped her with 8-0 + 7-1 + 9-1 with 6vol gel. For her ends I used 9.5-1 🤗

This was our first color session together and I could not be more excited! Averi had a preexisting caramel balayage. So for this session we brought up her color and transitioned her to the red side 😉

Metamorphosis - a profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an organism

As an human and an artist this word constantly lives at the forefront of my mind. I love change. I crave change. I am never satisfied and constantly trying to grow.

Yesterday I had the honor of co-teaching a photography class with the amazingly talented . Even while teaching this class I shared with her how I feel my artistry entering a new phase. I can’t wait to see this new growth stage and where it takes me.

This is a client I only see twice a year for touch ups since she lives in a different state. For creating her color story and matching her lifestyle, we chose to do a balayage and tone her golden. That way she can go some time between appointments without needing a toner or touch up!
