I won’t pretend I have all the right words for this one but I’ll try. Fourteen years in this industry, and I am beyond grateful for every bride, every appointment, every moment that shaped me into the artist I am today.

This year has been one of transformation. A shedding, a stretching, a becoming. A full metamorphosis and I am here for every single second of it.

I step into year 15 and my 40th year on this earth with more clarity, more purpose, and more excitement than I have ever felt. The best is not behind me. It is absolutely, undeniably ahead.

Man oh man I’m so blessed to have the best brides in the city. From the time Chi walked into my studio for her preview we instantly matched. But something I had to ask her….why she wanted to go first for service. What was the vision as I’ve never had this request before.

She informed me she had her husband will be doing her traditional portraits prior to the white gown ceremony. I love a bride who prioritizes her photos 🙌🏾

And she KNEW what the vibe for the eye to the lip.

I used colorfix on the lips. Then when it was time to change the lip, used a lip mask to dissolve it and changed to a pinky n**e lip.

And I’m not going to lie yall but the longer her makeup was on the better it looked just in time for her white gown ceremony. 🤏🏾

Shayna came in requesting my signature soft glam with a gold eye and I love when a bride knows what she wants.

Once we saw the gold in person, it was reading a little bright against her warm skin tone, so we made the switch to bronze. Instantly chef’s kiss.

Bronze complemented her complexion beautifully, and we also dialed up the blush for that perfect soft flush. Sometimes the best looks come from those in the moment adjustments and this was no exception.
