BREAKING:

A court in Mississippi, USA has sentenced three Nigeria men to 235 years in prison for running online scams that duped people out of tens of millions of dollars.

They are:

1. Oladimeji Seun Ayelotan, 30. He was sentenced to 95 years in prison.

2. Rasaq Aderoju Raheem, 31. He got 115 years in jail.

3. Femi Alexander Mewase, 45, received 25 years in jail.

A jury found all three guilty of mail fraud, wire fraud, identity theft, credit card fraud and theft of government property.

Abia Assembly To Intervene In The Leadership Crisis At Umu-Ajiji Ibeku.

The Abia State House has assured that it would intervene in the leadership crisis at Umu-Ajiji Community. The Deputy Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Austin Okezie gave the assurance when he addressed Protesters from Umu-Ajiji Community in Isieke Ibeku, Umuahia North, LGA.

The Protesters who were led by Mr. Ihueze Celestine Eluwa had pleaded with the State Assembly to intervene in the Leadership crisis rocking the Community which has caused serious crisis amongst members of the community and the leadership of the Community Development Union.

The House through the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Austin Okezie who stood in for the Speaker assured of prompt resolution of the crisis while commending the protesters for their peaceful demonstration. He urged them to formally put their grievances in a letter to the house to enable the Legislative Institution respond immediately.
