Pride Month is almost almost over and I want to celebrate it right! 🌈 For the last full week of June I will donate 100% of our profits to some solid organizations who work with with and for the LGBTQIA community. I have a couple in mind that are my favorite, but I want to hear from you!

A Story:
So the killing of our oceans is the reason Waves was created. The founder of Waves, .lexi, has started about 6 different businesses and had multiple “clock-in/clock-out” jobs. At a certain point we all come to a point that we have to decide if we want to make money or make a difference. Lexi came to that point in her mental wellness journey. She decided in order to be happy, there has to be some sort of combination of freedom and making a living and impacting the world for the better. It’s all about balance and that’s what needed to be figured out before Waves could come to life. We are zero waste to try to spread the way of living being a pretty and fun thing, it doesn’t have to be this huge pressure to do everything perfect, it can be a way of living that is just staying conscious of little decisions that can collectively make a huge impact. Lexi always loved making her own bath/beauty/cleaning products, so she decided what a better concept to marry with the zero waste living than what she was already doing for herself. Making an impact on the world is a fine balance of taking care of your own mental health, that way you have enough to give and share, healthily. On top of all that, donating 20% of our profits to ocean conservation projects is a way to balance the carbon footprint of our online orders. It’s our PASSION at Waves to make a difference in cleaning up this Earth of ours, and it has to start with the way we live. Big or small, every decision matters.
