A sebaceous filament is a thin, hair-like structure that lines the inside of the pore and helps sebum travel to the skin’s surface. People often confuse sebaceous filaments with blackheads. Blackheads are a form of acne.
Tips to reduce sebaceous filaments or blackheads:
⚫️ Double cleanse daily
⚫️Exfoliate at least 1-2x’s weekly
⚫️Use active ingredients such as Salicylic acid, Retinol, Benzoyl Peroxide, and etc.
⚫️Moisturize to keep barrier hydrated
⚫️Schedule routine facials
