As part of our 250 Acts of Kindness, our amazing Therapy Director Mrs. Hasina treated our staff to a well-deserved spa day with relaxing back and hand massages.

Taking care of others starts with taking care of the people who do it every day. Thank you Mrs. Hasina for creating a moment for our team to pause, relax, and feel appreciated. Small acts of kindness truly make a big difference.

We are thrilled to share an inspiring success story from our therapy program at Afton Oaks.

Meet Timothy Jackson, a remarkable resident who has shown incredible dedication and perseverance in his journey through therapy. When Timothy first entered our facility, he faced challenges with ambulation and performing daily activities. Fast forward to today, and he is standing tall, walking independently, and completing his activities of daily living with minimal assistance!

Timothy's hard work and commitment to his therapy sessions have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of his accomplishments. His progress serves as a testament to the resilience of our residents and the impact of our dedicated therapy team.

Jonathan Mendoza’s first visit to Afton Oaks to bring his neighbor who use to babysit him as a toddler food and a beverage. He hasn’t seen his neighbor in the past few months and decided to reach out and spend some quality time. Kudos to Mr.Mendoza.

A little laughter, a little teamwork, and a whole lot of frozen treats! Today our residents had fun making homemade frozen cups with our Activity Director. Sometimes it’s the simple things that bring back the best memories.
