Follow along on my career journey! From trauma nursing to cardiac ICU to becoming a nurse practitioner, nurse injector, and now a business owner 🤍

I started my nursing career after attending Western Michigan University for my undergrad. I went straight into trauma nursing and absolutely loved it, but I knew I wanted to be closer to family.

That led me to the Cardiac ICU at Michigan Medicine, where I met Lauren Yanalunas! During that time, I decided to continue my education and pursue my master’s degree at University of Michigan to become a nurse practitioner.

After graduating, I started working in orthopedics, but I always had a passion for aesthetics. I had the opportunity to complete rotations in dermatology, which only made that interest grow stronger.

I knew I wanted to help people in a different way while also creating a career that would allow me to start a family and have a better work-life balance.

That’s when I started attending injectable trainings, and little did I know where that decision would lead me 💉

Fast forward to today…

Since starting Corner Studio Spa in 2020, Lauren and I have grown our business into something bigger than we ever imagined. We’ve expanded into a larger space, built an incredible team of 15+ employees, and become a recognized and trusted name in our community. It’s been so rewarding to see how far we’ve come!

Looking back, I’m SO happy I took that leap. I get to combine my medical background with my love for aesthetics, help people feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, and still have the flexibility to be present as a mom to my three boys.

I truly get the best of both worlds, and I couldn’t be more grateful 🫶🏼
