These locs had spent years in a polygamous relationship.
Multiple locs had become married together over time. Through precision reconstruction, each one was carefully separated and restored to its own foundation—preserving length, integrity, and the client’s progress.

One tool doesn’t create this result.
I use the three-needle crochet tool to build each loc, then finish with the single needle to secure and refine every detail.
That’s where precision makes the difference.

Not all scalp buildup is visible.
What you can’t see can affect your locs and scalp health.
Every loc is built with intention. Creating fullness starts with proper preparation, controlled tension, and precision—not shortcuts. This is part of the process behind a strong, natural-looking foundation.

Fullness starts before the crochet needle ever touches the hair.
Backcombing builds the foundation.

Several inches of new growth called for a thoughtful reconstruction—not just maintenance. Using my single-needle crochet technique, I rebuilt the foundation while creating the fuller look the client was looking for, without compromising the integrity of the hair.
Precision over shortcuts. Every loc is built with intention.
Single-Needle Crochet Loc Creation
Every loc on this head had married together. The separation was done entirely by hand. Once each loc was separated, I used a single-needle crochet technique to reconstruct and reinforce every loc individually.
Thank you for watching and supporting my work. I appreciate every view. More techniques are on the way.
