When choosing Glam Waves aka Hollywood Waves here’s a couple things to keep in mind.

📚 Its not a simple curl, time needed:
Up to 1.5-2.5 hours

📚 Extensions are needed most of the time - this gives fullness, thickness and length. (Extensions were used for this bride)

📚Hollywood waves 101

-Soft, bigger wave gives you some 👌🏽movement.

-Hollywood waves are polished, defined that gives you minimal to no movement. It is sprayed down to stay together, in one place, the entire day 🚫

-Piece-y, messy, undone, textured waves gives…dance all night long movement 🙃

📚This style requires a lot of hair product. As hairstylists, we have to consider hair texture, its ability to hold a curl, frizz, volume, and other factors. At times, I will use up to 6 different products depending on all these factors.

📚Dress Choice:
A high back dress or a dress w beads will frizz the bottom & the underneath/back of the hair. This style works beautifully on dresses with an open back or a silk/satin material dress.

Last, if you really want this style and your hair doesn’t hold a curl for a long period of time, I highly recommend getting a bridal hair trial.
