I looked through the heart spandrel of my second floor balcony overlooking the studio and spied the sign hanging over the door below.
This unique perspective reminded me that perspective shift is at the heart of yoga. We step into the studio and that shift begins: from our outward sensory attention to our inner landscape focus—breath and body. We shift to balance mind and body. When we walk out the studio door into life, hopefully, we carry that altered focus and balance into the world.
