✨ A Little Life Update ✨

Starting September 1st, I’ll be moving to a 2-day-a-week salon schedule. This shift comes from a place of love and intention as I make more room for my family and the busy season ahead with Brinton Goldens. With multiple litters on the horizon and three boys who are growing faster than I can keep up with, it’s time to rebalance where my time and energy go.

Here’s what my new schedule will look like:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays (alternating each week)
Appointments from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
Last appointment starts by 7:30 pm

Thursdays
Appointments from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

If my new schedule no longer lines up with yours, Chloee is taking appointments and would love to have you in her chair! Reach out to her directly to get on her books.

Thank you for supporting me through every season. I’m so grateful for each of you and happy to keep doing what I love… just a little less often.

••Meet Chloee••

I am very excited to introduce Chloee as my new assistant!! I’ve been looking to hire an assistant for a little while and everything just worked out perfectly to have her join me now!

Chloee will be helping me out with appointments as well as doing some behind the scenes things to help maximize my time and allow my books to stay open and provide more availability.

She brings great, happy, energy into the salon and I know you all will just love her!!

Holidays are quickly approaching! If you need your hair done this fall/winter I would recommend scheduling early. My books tend to fill up fast.

I will also be taking 2 weeks off in November! We are expecting a sweet litter of puppies and I want to enjoy Thanksgiving break with my kiddos. Soooooo…. Let’s just get you scheduled? Ok? Graduation Ready! 🎓

Hello friends 👋🏼

Just wanted to give you a heads up! I will be out of the salon and not taking appointments (like seriously! Not even one!) April 1st - 21st.

My sweet baby Georgia is due to have her first litter of puppies and I will be doing all the breeder things and loving on those babies! It may seem silly, but we’ve been working towards this for the last few years and I’ve dreamed about raising puppies my entire life. It’s important and so exciting for me!

Listen. I know I usually move things around and am pretty flexible to make things work, which I’m happy to do. However, this will not be one of those times 😂 I still love you so much! Let’s just plan ahead and schedule early because I will feel bad and want to throw up and will lose sleep over every client who texts me desperate for an appointment. I’m blessed to head into another great year with Studio K! Having my home studio has been the best! I’m excited to learn and grow even more this year!

I saw another stylist make a post with some fun facts about their career in the beauty industry! I thought it was kind of fun so I decided to do one of my own!

Here we go!
• I graduated a year early and started hair school at 17! I lived in an apartment with roommates but my mom still had to sign permission slips for me to attend a few hair shows.

• I never wanted to do hair, I only went to cosmetology school so I would have a decent job to help pay my way through college. I fell in love with doing hair and hated my 2 college semesters so it was a pretty easy choice to do hair full time.

• I was a cosmetology instructor for 10+ years and absolutely love education!

• My favorite services to do are foil work and extensions.

• I have so many perm clients! Not many stylists in my area offer perms, I don’t mind doing them at all!

• I cannot braid hair to save my life. I’ve taken multiple braiding classes and spent hundreds of dollars trying to learn and I’m absolutely terrible.

• My most neglected clients are my husband and kids. My boys hair is always wild, they hate having it done and honestly I hate fighting them about it, so chaos wins 99% of the time.

• My clients always apologize for their hair… it’s dirty, it’s been months since they got it done, they tried to cut or color it themselves. I honestly do not care and have no judgements. I’m just happy you’re here and excited to do it!

• The current shampoo and conditioners in my shower are Maria Nila Soft & Pureology Hydrate.

• If I could only use one styling product for the rest of my life it would be Alfaparf Oil

• Knowledge is power and I always put money aside to do extra classes a few times a year! This year I’ll be focusing on curly hair styling & cutting and micro keratin tip extensions!

I don’t know who loves her more, me or my boys! Brooks just loves to sit on her lap for most of her appointment. She’s just the prettiest inside and out so it makes my job easy peasy!
