Workshop Space ✨
This is where we gather our curious minds to explore new territory in our consciousness. Where we meet to discuss what we have been learning, growing through, discovering about ourselves.. this is a safe space to share, to dive deep, where we are held in community with our likeness and our differences.
Come to connect with us ❤️

Season is a word that can describe so many cyclical, and transient moments in time, with people, and feelings… it can encompass in a word the knowing.. that this will pass.
When I began to use the word “season” in describing where I am at in business, in my natural woman’s cycle, with the time of year, with the phase of life; it was easier to accept.
I could accept and surrender to the difficulties, the mental and emotional fatigue, the periods of high anxiety, the heaviness in my body, the utter… struggle.
It softened me and helped me to have grace for myself. It also gave me grit, and fed my ability to endure.
There is strength in surrender and endurance in accepting where you are at, how you feel, and giving yourself what you need.
I am teaching myself this version of self love and acceptance. Come learn more with me, about the seasons of our menstrual cycle. As women this is a vital step to surrendering to what is, and accepting our innate nature.

People ask me all of the time how I got into the hair industry…
My mom was a cosmetologist, worked in salons, and was a traveling educator while I was growing up. I spent a lot of time admiring her work, the products, and the energy in the salon. I sooooo confidently knew, for as long as I can remember, that I too would work in a salon.
My school counselors would insist I take more classes and gain credits to help with college applications, and I would tell them; “I am going to cosmetology school, I am going to be a hairstylist. I’m going to own a salon one day.”
It was the one area in my life I had no doubts about, and I had a delusional level of confidence in my ability to apply acrylic nails, cut, and color hair, welllllllll before I attended beauty school.
It was a skill people would trade me money for starting around age 12. Offering cuts to the neighborhood kids instead of lemonade (yikes- I wonder now how many parents were furious).. and through high school for acrylic nails, prom styling, and even hair color.
It wasn’t until I was in my 20’s that I ever really had a moment of doubt about this career… this life path. I suddenly wanted to travel and see the world, and I wanted freedom.
This career can be difficult for the independent stylist, not knowing what policies to have in place, working with such a variety of people/personalities, and shifting the past’s beliefs that we are only service providers.
But- we are artists, and this work requires boundaries, and time with yourself. It requires assessing your OWN needs too, and insuring you aren’t allowing your physical and mental health to fall to the wayside, while you work like a robot meeting everyone else’s needs, and saying YES until you drop.
There is space for freedom, and boundaries, and joy in this industry. You just have to be willing to make the space for yourself.
To all of the stylists who are in the difficult phases of your career… There will be growing pains in every phase, but if there are areas where you’re suffering, make the changes necessary to find your freedom. Make space for yourself, your health, your emotional well being, and your big scary dreams.
You’ve got this ❤️

Wholistic Health…
Has so much to do with consciousness.
Understanding what kind of circuitry our actions, thoughts, and words are creating. Knowing that how we nourish and feed our physical body, our mind, our soul, will have an impact on our overall health.
The way we speak to ourselves, and love ourselves, is so important.
What kind of conversation, and social interaction, and people we remain present for; is it destructive or is it nourishing?
What are we listening to, reading, watching…
How are we pushing ourselves, and getting out of our comfort zones?
Many facets of our every day lives can be improved with such simple adjustments.
Tune in to discover what is sparking joy and feeding a prosperous life.

Yoga, meditation, and mindfulness has been a strong influence in my life for about a decade and a half. As a truth seeker, and in my journey of self discovery, I found that the most important beliefs to uncover, were my own internal systems and conditioning.
The path to being non-reactive, to becoming “grounded”, to live in truth, and speak impeccably, starts with awareness… with consciousness. Being grounded means that we can feel our tissue and bones touching the chair we are sitting in, we can feel the floor beneath our feet, we can connect to our breath… we are awake, connected, feeling, breathing.
Mindfulness is learning to make contact with the inner and the outer. To be aware of the sensations we feel on our skin, in our guts, how our heart beats, and the feelings that come flooding in when we brush up against something outside of us. Mindfulness is made up of tools to navigate these feelings, so that we may move through the world with more grace and a deeper understanding of the self.
With this practice, we may become the cause of our life, rather than the effect. We may have a better grasp on the results of our relationships, work, finances, and passions. We slow down and learn to proactively respond to the challenges of life.
