Yesterday was a first for me—I got to cut out a young client’s dreadlocks, and seeing how much he loved his haircut at the end made the entire experience worth it. His smile and confidence after seeing the final result reminded me exactly why I love what I do.

I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2019, and while my journey with hair hasn’t always been straightforward, I found my way back to it in 2024. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with this industry all over again. Reconnecting with my passion has helped me rediscover myself, and my confidence has grown more than I ever imagined.

Every client who sits in my chair teaches me something new, helps me sharpen my skills, and reminds me why I chose this career in the first place. I’m always looking forward to new opportunities and adventures in the beauty industry, but for now, you’ll find me behind the chair at Great Clips in Camby, doing what I love and continuing to grow every day.
