I am writing to address recent concerns that have been brought to light regarding Bareknuckles. I want to express my sincere commitment to fostering a truly welcoming and safe environment for every single person who walks through our doors.

It has come to our attention that Myles Parker, a formal employee shared experiences that led him to feel unsafe and unwelcome. While I deeply regret that this was his perception, and it was never our intention, I understand that his perception is his reality. We strive to be a place where everyone feels respected and secure, and I take all feedback to heart.

Regarding my past, I want to be open and clear. I am not the person I once was. My past is exactly that—the past—and it does not define who I am today as a family man, a contributing member of this community, and a dedicated barber. I have worked tirelessly to move beyond those challenges, and my focus now is entirely on creating a positive impact and providing excellent service to our community.

We are actively reviewing our practices to ensure that Bareknuckles remains a genuinely safe and inclusive space for all. My commitment is to foster an environment built on respect, understanding, and transparency.

Now to address the hiring of Mike, I'm not part of any work release program. His PO approached me about working together, and at the time, we didn't know the full details surrounding his situation. I take responsibility for that. It's worth noting that no one was arrested at the shop."
