currently kicking myself for not taking a before picture... 🙄

she had about 3 inches of new growth and then about an inch of some banding from a previous shadow root

to say the least, it was an overhaul.

we were able to break through without causing any damage (thanks olaplex) or new banding and give her a good livable blonde. 🙌🏻

WHAT A DIFFERENCE

the key to being able to achieve this - good at home maintenance, patience, & trusting the processes.
we still have a little ways to go but I couldn’t be happier with our SECOND session when we started with a level 4 (dark brown) with violet/red tones to begin with.

when going blonde, there’s a couple things to consider

•maintenance
are you someone that is going to come in every 4 weeks or every 6-8 weeks?

•take home
when going blonde there are several product that are needed for your at home care, otherwise you’re going to be back at step one.

going blonde is expensive and a commitment
-if you’re someone that wants a more natural look, a rooted look might be best for you! these are some of my favorite looks, I love a good dimensional blonde!

the main thing to remember - not all blondes are the same and there’s always a look for you.
