What does taking a break look like for you?
For us, we take a break when the business starts to feel stressful. We take a break when we feel a burnout. We take a break when we just feel like it.
Our breaks consist of:
🍂Going for a walk
☀️Bring a speaker (for music), grabbing a meal and the beach
☕️Going to a coffee shop, having a coffee and a peanut butter cookie
😴Taking a nap
It’s not complicated, just do it when you feel that you need it.

Today would’ve been my grandmother Olivia’s 85th birthday. 💙 She’s one of the two women who inspired the name Novy and Livy Apothecary.
Her strength, grace, and love for natural remedies live on in everything I create. She taught me to care deeply, live gently, and treat self-care as a way to reconnect.
