STOP BUYING HAIR PRODUCTS FROM TJMAXX
This is worth the read:
As much as I love Tjamxx, I will not buy hair products from them because they are not selling the real thing! I’ve been curious about why they don’t work the same as salon products even though they have the same name. Below is a comparison of a conditioner we have in the salon and a conditioner I found in Tjmaxx. The ingredients are completely different. Some ingredients are substituted and some are not there at all. So please stop buying them from Tjamxx, Amazon, Publix, and Drugstores. Get them from me (your stylist) or even Ulta but definitely not Tjamxx!

Hairspray ain’t the same

My good friend and her husband stopped to help the victims of an accident. They were first on scene even before first responders. As they were assisting, another vehicle driven by an impaired teenager crested the hill and struck my friend resulting in serious injuries, including the loss of part of her leg.

My sweet friend and her family would appreciate any help and support given, even if it's just prayers, but she and her husband will be out of work for some time during this recovery and healing, so any contribution to this go-fund-me would be welcome.

Hello friends!

As many of you know, on top of being your beauty guru, I also run Shiver Me Pictures, the super fun pop-up photo studio. Shiver Me Pictures is available for hire, but we also donate a lot of our time setting up and entertaining crowds for charitable events. One such event is the Free Halloween Lightshow 2023 At LightUpCitrus & Toy Drive (Benefiting Casa Citrus) Trunk or Treat on October 28th where we set up the photo booth for families to come through and take pictures with pirates! This will be our third year with this event, and it's always great fun and a huge success.

Hundreds of people come out to this event and I generally supply much of the photo booth candy myself, but between some health issues and prepping for other events that are coming up, that will be a struggle for me. So, to help out this year I'm asking for candy donations. It seems an odd thing to be requesting, but it will honestly take a huge worry off my chest.

If you can help and want to donate, you can drop candy off at the salon next week. I'll be there Tuesday through Thursday, starting at 10 AM, but if you happen to stop by one of those days and I'm not there, you can leave donations hanging on the door and I'll be along shortly.
