I tried something new last weekend.

Normally I keep it simple — one print at a time. But seeing the women in G’wan fashion community made me want to step outside my usual.

So I did it. And chyyyy, it felt good.

Funny how growth can just look like trying the thing you’d normally talk yourself out of.

Recently I’ve been asked two questions I didn’t realize I needed to hear…

Do you need anything?
How are you?

I’m usually the one checking on everybody else. Asking the questions. Holding the space. And somewhere along the way I had to learn that receiving care is not weakness.

It’s growth.

AND I was finally in a place to receive it. Because I have become the kind of woman who can let that be true.

Safe, soft places to land are real. And so is the growth it takes to rest in them.
