Sharing my treatment because I still have a ton of my clients confused about what is Powder Brows and why do I have this technique over the Microblading technique?

Powder Brow is a shading effect to add pigment under the brow hairs for shape and definition. It can be done very softly, in order to look light and natural.

Microblading is the technique of adding hair-strokes into the skin.

I personally like Powder Brows for anyone that has more brow hair but still some areas of gaps or sparse hairs. Powder Brows is also recommended for more oily skin types and darker Fitz Patrick types.

Whereas, Microblading I prefer for clients with more hair loss to add that look of more hair for them. Plus, it heals beautifully on normal and dry skin types.

Wahooo!!! Another year of updating my Microblading and PMU training!

You guys know, your girl is always staying up to date so my clients get the best version of me! Plus the best of everything in the industry today!

3 things I tell my anti-aging clients that come in with already significant signs of aging they want to reverse without surgery...

1. It can be done but it takes way longer than someone with less visible signs of aging -patience is needed!
2. It will take much more sessions than again, someone with less visible signs of aging -money is a factor!
3. YOU HAVE TO BE ON A FULL MEDICAL GRADE SKINCARE ROUTINE MORNING & NIGHT -you cannot forget, you cannot expect change with the in-office treatments alone. With that, is also CANNOT be any skincare line, it 100% has to be strong pharmaceutical grade skincare with prescription retin-a to seriously reconstruct the skin and get any REAL visible results.

If you can do all 3 and be diligent, you CAN get true anti-aging, where you look better 2 years from now then you do today.

Then we have to talk about REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. Is the client coming in already a senior? Do they have significant set in deep set line and wrinkles? Do they have sun damage accumulated over decades? Are they a smoker? Drinker? If so, the end result without lasers and surgery can be a significant improvement. However, a realistic expectation is, even over time and many treatments/skincare products, your client may still have some wrinkles and stubborn pigment that just doesn't lift easily.

With my client in the photo, you can see she has significant reduction in her wrinkles, her under eyes improved dramatically, and look at her neck!!! Her overall complexion is smoother and brighter.

Plus, we did her Microblading! Which as you can tell in the photos makes such a difference in framing her face and giving her a more soft and youthful appearance.

Anti-aging on mature clientele can be done but you must set expectations and make sure the client is willing to go through the process. I get quite a few mature clients in for consults and they always say, "is it just too late for me?" My answer is always, "No, not if your willing to follow these 3 things..." 😉
