DRY SKIN
This is an uncomfortable skin condition when your skin feels tightened, red, itchy and scaly. The cause can be because of a lot of factors like genetic predispositions and low sebum production. Sebum keeps the skin supple and soft. Dry skin is essentially not because of lack of moisture but because the dry skin has similar levels of water like oily skin.

OILY SKIN
Terribly large pores, acne breakouts, thick shine and heightened sebum production… this skin type is susceptible to pimples, acne, blackheads and whiteheads more than anything else. The overproduction of sebum can cause seborrhoea. The oily skin is caused due to hereditary factors, stress and hormonal changes. The oil flows through the pores to the epidermis to the surface of the skin and hair follicles. The pores are visible because of size expansion hence the skin appears greasy and the makeup wears off easily.

Apart from acne, the big pores on your skin, you might not know that moisturising the skin is counterproductive: thick complexion, skin feels coarse and greasy. However, the oily skin stays lubricated and prevents wrinkles.

COMBINATION SKIN
As simple as it sounds, combination skin is a mixture of more than one skin type on your face. It also varies from the T-zone to the cheeks. This is a harder skin type to deal with because of the complexities of the different skin types and the proportion of them that qualifies it to be a combination skin type. It is advisable to treat the skin with the dominating type regardless of the portions it is present. Treating both the skin type means finding out the perfect skincare routine for each of them. There are active oil glands on the forehead and the nose, which leads to clogged pores, the biggest problem of combination skin type. Dry, flaky cheek skin, clogged pores in the T-zone and shiny nose are the other problems for this skin type.

NORMAL SKIN
Normal’ is a term widely used to refer to well-balanced skin. The scientific term for well-balanced skin is eudermic. The T-zone (forehead, chin and nose) may be a bit oily, but overall sebum and moisture is balanced and the skin is neither too oily nor too dry.

Makeup wipes are not formulated to actually clean your skin. They are formulated to break down makeup. Your face might look makeup free when you're done, but these wipes don't actually cleanse your skin and tend to leave behind a residue that isn't doing your skin any favors.

I would recommend using micellar water as a daily makeup remover following with a foam cleanser to make sure my skin is clean before getting to bed.

Exfoliation can leave your skin looking brighter and improve the effectiveness of topical skin care products by enhancing absorption.

Regular exfoliation can also help prevent clogged pores, resulting in fewer breakouts.

Long-term exfoliating can increase collagen production. Collagen is key to glowing, vibrant skin. The protein also promotes skin elasticity, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and related sagging.

Daily facial cleansing removes every last trace of dirt, excess oil, pollution and unwanted skin cells off of your face. ... If not cleansed properly, dirt and pollution accumulate at the surface of your skin and could potentially contribute to breakouts, dehydration and ageing.

Normal healthy skin has many important roles and thus should be treated with care and respect. Many people only start focusing on the skin once there is an abnormality or at least a perceived problem.

With all the makeup we wear now, we have to make sure to have a good skin care regimen. I myself love makeup but I’m also very comfortable with my bare face.

The foundation for flawless makeup application is healthy skin. Sure, we’re all for a faux glow, but there’s nothing like the real thing, right?

Following a proper skincare routine before and after you apply your makeup will prevent your pores from clogging up keeping your skin clear.
