Sometimes I look back at my life and realize how much courage it took to change directions. I spent 8-10 years building a career as a data engineer in the corporate world. A path that made sense on paper, but deep down I knew my heart was pulling me somewhere else. Choosing to walk away from that and follow what I truly love wasn’t the easiest decision, but moments like this remind me exactly why I did.

This past week I had the opportunity to attend the Sport Clips conference in Louisville called Huddle, and it was honestly one of the most amazing experiences. It felt less like work and more like the best kind of sleepover with my girlies. We got to laugh, learn, grow, and lift each other up. Being surrounded by so many passionate, supportive women who all share the same drive was something really special.

I’m so grateful for the leap I took and for the journey that brought me here. Experiences like this remind me that sometimes the scariest decisions lead you exactly where you’re meant to be.

Already counting down the days until we’re all back together next year in Vegas!! 💗🫶🏼
