Hello sweets!

As most of you know by now that I’m moving out of my loft at the end of this month and am going to be moving locations - at the moment location is tbd due to leasing contract negotiations. Unfortunately I have no more openings before that happens. But, I promise I’ll be back as soon as I can. I’m going to be taking some much needed time off to rest before the holidays.

Special Announcement
For personal reasons, I will no longer be taking on new clients until I feel I’m ready to.
I will also be changing my hours for a little while before the holidays - I’ll go back and possibly add a half day to get everyone in to look their best for family events!
A 20% price increase will be going into effect come August 2021 but I will no longer be accepting tips! So it evens itself out, don’t be alarmed 🤗

With all these new changes, I also want to say thank you so so much to all my wonderful clients who make it possible for me to support my family during this time! You are all so amazing and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate each and every one of you!!!

• i n t r o d u c t i o n •

I feel as though since getting my cosmetology license, I have been through so many different phases - from skill level to different hair color/lengths, to concentration on different specialties. So, I believe that calls for an intro to the “me” now.

First off, I’m no longer Ashley Scalph! I married my the love of my life last year and changed my last name to Walko, the ‘W’ in ‘Ashley W Hair’. I’m also a mommy now, so I feel as though after hair, that’s what my clients and I talk about. My beautiful ginger baby, Emily, who is now 2 years older! But, I do try to keep appointments focused on clients. As much as I love to relate to my clients with my own personal life, my client is the most important subject within the appointment. I’ve always referred to myself as a “Daymaker” first and hairstylist second. The most important thing to me is that you walk out of my door feeling beautiful & sexy! My current focus is on blonding and extensions, followed by dimensional hair color. What you may not know about me is I do not cut men’s hair - it has forever been a shortcoming of mine since school. Sorrynotsorry 😉 give me more time to my beautiful ladies! I used to be a workaholic. I could be in the salon 7 days a week, from open to close, and still absolutely love what I do. My have the times change. My daughter is my whole world now, and I cut down to only 4 days a week. Believe me though, I still enjoy doing hair just as much, if not even more!

Healthy hair is my passion, above all! I love helping women bring back their hair after any kind of damage & hair loss. It is so rewarding watching hair grow stronger after months of hard work on both my and my clients part. So, if I ever say “no” it’s absolutely for the best and I will always give some kind of alternative!

I am so fortunate to have every single one of my clients (past, present & future!) If I have ever touched your hair, thank you so much for giving me that trust, as I know how it is sitting in the chair waiting for that big reveal!
