This is my sister in laws hair.
I have been doing her hair for the past year and a half. Before then she was doing box color at home. 😭🙅🏼‍♀️ (every hairdressers nightmare)
Here is some history of her hair:
We did an all over color in January of 2017. All over root to ends.
In December of 2017 she decided to go purple! So she got purple!! 💁🏼‍♀️💜
Well a few days ago she decided to go with a lighter purple for summer time. *In order to go lighter, you have to use lightener* 💁🏻‍♀️➡️💁🏼‍♀️
You can obviously see where the box color was and how much it’s grown out in the past year and a half. 🤯😮
First picture is from her wedding (May 13, 2017) 👰🏻
Second picture is from December 2, 2017 before highlights and after depositing her purple color. 💜
Last picture is from May 3, 2018 after her lightener was shampooed out and her lighter purple was deposited. 👩🏻‍🎤

You can just see right where that box color is still lingering after an all over color, a heavy highlight, a direct color, AND lightener!! The lightener was deposited onto her ends first. So even with it being on her ends longer than her regrowth, it still did not want to come out. ☹️☹️☹️
