Almost 7 years ago to the day… I walked through the door at 820 Post St and interviewed with . I have felt more at home at Redfields Salon than I ever did at any address I resided in. Redfields was always more of a family than it was a job, it was a sanctuary where everyone felt appreciated and put at ease. Scott was not only a boss but also a mentor and he always reminded me that there’s no I in team. He took a great gamble on this girl who followed her heart and moved from Brooklyn to our great city of Jacksonville. He challenged me to be the best version of myself and the girl who said she’d never be a colorist ended up doing (may I say) pretty incredible transformations. We did some beautiful hair, we were the official salon of , survived a pandemic and corrected many at home touch ups. My time at Redfields was heaven on earth, after all who can say they come to work everyday with a smile on their face… awaiting to see their best friends? I have met the most incredible people, watched their lives transform… date, get married, have children, gone through grief together all while bonding over a hair service. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and today I have to say Good Bye to Redfields Salon in order to continue to grow and establish my life in New York. Jacksonville will always have a special place in my heart and I sincerely say it is not a permanent good bye but more of a see you soon. To all of my clients that have trusted me and confided in me all of these years, thank you from the bottom of my heart, I would never be the person I am today without you. Thank you for creating a beautiful space where we all thrived and making it so hard to ever want to go work anywhere else..

Best weekend with my longest client, Mom❤️

A perfectly blended 🍦vanilla swirl .. this client came in with super bright roots and brassy ends, our first session was establishing a balance to have a even canvas to work from. Adding in some lowlights allowed for her highlights to really pop and give her a brighter overall look with a natural grow out!
