We’ve created an invite-only professional community where licensed nail artists can connect, exchange real-world advice, share resources, discuss nail health & safety, talk business, celebrate wins, and help each other grow.
This isn’t a group for drama, competition, or gatekeeping.
It’s a space for professional support, education, empowerment & growth.

My first art show. I’ve done nail events, ever a competition (besides when I was in spa school).
I truly think the fall and then rise of this piece or pieces should I was were a great one. My first The Petite Jax show and certainly not my last.
I used erasers that were made into butterfly and bugs. I also found some faux leaves. The mangos made me hungry 🥭
The stand also came from a local store along with the rhinestones. The focus was on the nails, not the stand. 🦋
The lemon and limes had to be diffrent, but this technique can be used for oranges as well.
The grapes were also green and red. I used 3D nail gel to make the grapes more realistic.
I was in distress because I lost one of the watermelon nails. The maintenance man knocked it off while doing a repair. Legend has it, it somewhere in my apartment today. 😩😩😩😩
Finally my own feature. Im so proud of myself for trying new things this year. Nails isn’t all about clients and nail art. Look at the bigger picture.
What a feeling to have crossed out an item on my bucket list. Thank you The Petite Jax and Black Jax Collective Downtown Vision, Inc. for allowing spaces like this for creatives.
While creating this piece, I had a lot going on! Lost nails and had to start anew, or simply working with new medians and underestimating how long it would truly take.
Featured fruits: papayas, 🍋lemon, 🍋🟩 lime, 🍇 grapes, watermelon 🍉, and 🥭 mango💦
Sometimes it’s not whether you sell, sometimes you have to do it to show yourself you’re worth it too.

I enjoyed doing this set. Love a great inspo, but the details are in the patchwork.
