Necessities at Sola Salon Studios

We are playing catch up second to last - Mother’s 🤍 I wrote this on my way to church one Sunday in my car. I don’t have children so I had to put myself in my mum’s and many great mum’s shoes to create the narrative. There were so many people in the comments section that got upset and projected how bad their mother was and that they’re not so lucky - not knowing that I was estranged from my family for many years because I hated my parents. It took me over 15 years to heal the first 15 years of my life… the main factor to healing broken relationships and breaking generational curses is to not “speak” about what they have done wrong, but to “show” them how to do it right. My mother gave life to me and watched me grow to hate her, disappear for years as only a child, scream and shout and have no respect because I was so hurt. Although I bare scars and I have my reasons why, as we all do. Sometimes you just have to sit and think, I wonder what that must have been like for my mum.. And so I did.
