I'm....alive. And I have a new story in the works.

You’d think it was HEALTH, but it’s not. It’s Tori Amos, I just haven’t seen her since like 2003.

Which band have you seen in concert the most?

Good things around the corner are really making me feel like life—when you throw your back into problem-solving and you’re a giant, smart nerd—can turn around in 24 hours.

I can’t yap about what I’m doing, but I can get myself a Banana Puddin’ Lette and a sammich at Verna Café. It’s behind the Buffalo, so folks pop over there when we’re tired!

I have to plan my ascent back into life from a position of conservation and recovery. I plan to work a full-time schedule at the Buffalo, see Nation of Language, hang with my fwens to do everyday people stuff, dive back into my side hustles, and write and record my ass off.

I will catch up—but also, I gotta tell folks what just happened to me and I intend to because “where are you” is a valid question I can answer with substance as of tonight. I genuinely feel good about where I’m standing, now, I just couldn’t for the past 2 1/2 months. It was a s**t show, OMG, but I’m Beep Who Bounces Back, as we’ve all learned.

It was a rollercoaster made more terrifying by the fact that I was in control of the fu***ng thing—no Disney-engineered track I could rely on.

Aside from NOL, the funds I make HAVE to be sunk into my casual wardrobe, which I’ll invest in from the Buffalo. It’s a slow return, but it’ll happen and I’ll be SO much stronger because I’ve learned an entirely new layer of GRATITUDE.
