Today was our last day at the salon, and packing up a space that Sam poured her heart and soul into was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. It’s difficult to put into words how much love, laughter, and life lived within those walls. I keep telling myself that Sam would be proud of us, and that she would understand just how painful it is to stay—and how heartbreaking it is to finally walk away.

A huge piece of my heart will always remain there. Sam, wherever you are, I hope you know how deeply you are loved and missed. Thank you for creating a salon that felt like home and a family that will always carry you with us.

Today I shared this space with my very last client as we close this chapter of our lives.

Made some changes to the booking website! Now if you click the link it will say the new salon we are going to. If you have an appointment scheduled between now and the 27th and you get a reminder just know that your appointment is still scheduled to be in Jamestown. Our last official business day is on the 27th! We will send out a text to clients reminding them of their appointment and location. We will not be at the new salon till after to 27th! Thank you for patience we are just trying to be prepared for the move.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM QUEEN BEE SALON 🖤🐝

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Queen Bee Salon will be permanently closing. Our last day of operation will be December 27th. This news is unexpected and difficult for all of us, and we know it may be for many of you as well.

We want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support, loyalty, and love throughout the years. What made this place truly special wasn’t just the work we did, but the family we built with our clients. You weren’t just appointments on a schedule; you were part of our lives, our laughter, and our everyday moments. Having that kind of connection was something rare, important, and truly amazing, and we will forever cherish it.

Since the passing of Samantha, it has been incredibly hard to work here and continue to imagine this space without her. And as a small, lighthearted nod to her spirit: without our queen bee, the hive simply hasn’t felt the same. Closing this chapter is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, but we feel it is the right step as we heal, reflect, and move forward.

This is not goodbye. We will be relocating together as a family to 51 East Salon in Xenia, and we truly hope to see you again as we begin this next chapter. Our scheduling system will remain the same, so booking with us will continue to be simple and familiar.

For now, thank you for being such a meaningful part of Queen Bee Salon and for helping us create a community that truly felt like family.
