Rule number one ☝🏾 make a schedule, momma. It helps to know when you can squeeze in that quiet time. A schedule can be made weekly or monthly. You can use your day planner or just a plain ole sheet, but the most important thing is that you are using it.

Second, make essential functions into me time; try making shower time into an at-home spa ritual by taking your shower when everyone in the home sleeps.

Three find moms with children in the same age group so that you can enjoy time socializing while your kids play with other kids their age, and you’re not their sole source of entertainment.

Four take walks alone to have time to clear your head and be refreshed for your family. I know that all of this can be hard to do because mom guilt can set in, but doing this will allow you to be your best self for all who rely on you.
