Transitioning from blonde to level 6 cherry cola ::

Being blonde takes a lot from your hair, it strips your cuticle of all the known colors it possesses. It leaves your strands compromised and busted open making it hard for color to stick. If the door can’t shut; anything can get in and out!

So you can imagine introducing colors again will be hard to make that color stay, and that is why your hair fades to a dingy, muddy color shortly after just getting it done.

Filling the hair with the missing colors can help the final color stay a bit longer…. But definitely not stay for good. Going back to dark after being blonde is not a one appointment process.. this can take multiple appointments to finally get the color to stay, if ever! You might actually have to wait 5-7 yrs for the old blonde to grow out and be cut off before really getting the color you want.

Keeping her new color closer to her natural base color (level 6/7) will help with grow out looking crazy and hopefully keep the color still looking more natural as it fades.
