May is ⭐️National Treatment Court Month⭐️, and yesterday was a special day for our treatment court community in Craighead County!

We were honored to join Mayor Harold Copenhaver as he officially proclaimed May as Treatment Court Month in Craighead County. Representatives from Drug Court, Mental Health Court, Veterans Court, and STAR Court came together to celebrate the life-changing work being done through treatment courts in our community.

Treatment courts provide hope, accountability, recovery, and second chances for individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges. We are grateful for the partnerships that make this work possible and for the opportunity to continue serving our community together.

Thank you to Mayor Copenhaver for recognizing the impact of treatment courts and supporting recovery in Craighead County!

We’re proud to share that members of our STAR Court team attended the Annual Arkansas Specialty Court Conference in Little Rock this week!

This conference provides valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen the work we do to support individuals and families in our community.

We are also excited to celebrate two of our dedicated team members who were honored with their 10 Years of Service Awards from the Administrative Office of the Courts. Their commitment and passion continue to make a lasting impact.

Last week, we had the honor of celebrating three incredible graduates from the STAR Court program! 🎉

Each of these individuals demonstrated strong commitment, growth, and leadership throughout their journey—serving as mentors and setting a powerful example for others in the program.

We are so proud of how far they’ve come and can’t wait to see all they accomplish next. Their future is bright, and this is just the beginning! 💫

🥫 The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host USDA food distributions in Craighead County on April 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. or until supplies run out.

Pickup locations include First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro and the Caraway Housing Authority.

Distribution is first-come, first-served for eligible households.

Our program is reaching out to our amazing community for help.

We have a participant who is working incredibly hard to rebuild their life and create a stable, welcoming home environment. They have recently secured housing and are in need of living room furniture — specifically a couch, loveseat, recliner, coffee table, or end tables.

If you have gently used furniture in good condition that you would be willing to donate, it would make a meaningful difference for someone starting over. ❤️

We can help coordinate pickup if needed.
