I received an early morning text from a dear friend who now resides in Florida. She found this business card in her late mother’s address book and shared it with me. (Circa 2000)and ALL the memories came flooding back.
She and her mom, Wendy, became a two of my first regular clients when I moved to Joplin in 1998. In 2000 Inner Chi Salon & Spa was born and such a labor of love. To this day Im grateful to have had the experience and to have gained the relationships that came from that creation. In later years, long after her mother had passed ,Cathy was a testament of true friendship as she watched over my girls while teaching at North Middle School. I learned a lot from these two gals along with all of the ladies in my life. Wendy is unforgettable and so are many others who have changed my life for the good. Thank you for your loyalty and friendship. As for now- I will continue to smile and nod as I dry your hair .🤭😆 thankful for you all🫶🏼

My weekend project… before and then 7hrs later. I truly enjoyed spending time with this lady. She was so patient and positive, completely trusting this scary looking and very long process of slowly removing a years worth of black box dye with the goal of getting her a bit closer to her natural tone. (Maybe I’ll follow up with a play by play of this process…or things I would have done the same or differently 🤔 )
for those who have committed to or are considering a box dye☝🏻friendly reminder👆🏻reversing it is no small or inexpensive task & being open minded to the most realistic end result is imperative. This is the beginning of a hair color journey. 💫
