Our busy boutique hair salon in Abacoa is looking for a receptionist to join our team. Saturdays and occasionally a few evenings. We are looking for someone who is able to multi-task and absolutely loves people. If you know anyone that might be interested, please have them stop by the salon in person to fill out an application. Do you have a passion for helping people? Do you like interacting with people on a personal level and helping make their lives better through your advice? Well…being a Guest Care Member at Salon LaBrea might be the position for you!

You will provide the first impression for all guests and should be highly organized, able to multitask, work with different individuals; possess superior customer service skills as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

-Answer incoming calls, make appointments or take messages

-Greet and direct all salon guests

-Social Media Marketing

-Manage salon supplies such as ordering, receiving, stocking and distributing

-Maintain upkeep and appearance of the salon

-Assist stylists as needed.

Necessary Strengths:

-Thick Skin

-FAST learner

-Attention to detail

-Love for people

-Positive Attitude

-And a big smile! :-)

Please note that we are looking for someone who has at least 2+ years experience. This is not a summer job or a temporary position. You must have reliable transportation. You must look the part for someone who works in a hair salon (hair and makeup is required!). Salon Experience is a plus!

This is a part-time position requiring some early nights and Saturdays.
