Our first time trying Lucky Shuck in Jupiter… and it definitely won’t be our last! 🍹🌴

We had heard so many great things, so Scott and I decided to check out their happy hour for ourselves.

The views overlooking the Jupiter Inlet are absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was so much fun, and the happy hour specials were a great value.

We ordered 7 different items and every single one was delicious 😋

3 months in our Florida home 🌴☀️

The weather, beaches, sunshine, and active lifestyle have been everything we hoped for and more.

The hardest part has honestly been community and making new friends. When you’ve lived somewhere for 50 years, you know everyone. You see familiar faces everywhere, your family is there, and your friendships have been built over decades.

That part takes time.

But we’re feeling so much more settled now. We have our routines, favorite restaurants, a church we love, and it’s finally starting to feel less like an extended vacation and more like home.

We’re still exploring and figuring out where we want to plant roots long term, but overall we’re incredibly grateful we took the leap 🌴☀️

We finally checked out DuBois Park in Jupiter and wow… what a beautiful spot 🌴☀️

The clear water, palm trees, views, and peaceful vibe made it easy to see why so many people love it here.

One of my favorite parts of moving to Florida has been exploring places like this and discovering new spots we never knew existed.

Every time we get out and explore, I’m reminded why we took the leap and started this new chapter 🌊🤍

Something I’ve always loved about Florida 🌴☀️

The palm trees 😂

I know that probably sounds so random, but the more time we spend outside and exploring, the more I notice how many different kinds there are.

This neighborhood honestly has some of the most beautiful landscaping and the most palm trees I’ve ever seen 🌴

We were walking the other night and started looking them up and honestly… they’re kind of fascinating! 🌴

Apparently there are over 2,500 different types of palm trees… and not all of them even produce coconuts 🥥 who knew?! 🤷‍♀️

It’s little things like this that make Florida feel so special to me. ☀️ 🌱

The sunshine, palm trees, warm nights, being outside more… it’s just really good for my soul.

One of the biggest questions we’ve gotten about our move from NJ to Florida has been about PODS 📦🌴

So I wanted to share why we chose them, which company we went with, and what helped make the move smoother for us.

Honestly, moving is stressful enough… anything that made the process easier and more flexible was a huge help.

We also loved being able to pack at our own pace instead of feeling rushed.

Definitely one of the best decisions we made during our move.

And just to say… I’m definitely no expert 😅
