You guys asked for the backstory of this color so here it is‼️ Bridget lives in NH and has lots and lots of mineral buildup in her hair from the well water at her home and the heavy metal particles within the water. We completely underestimated just how much she had in there as we did her color. In this video you see me starting in the back section of her head, using a low volume developer and foil to highlight her hair. After working on this section for about 15 minutes her hair was HOT ... like WICKED hot. To the point where the foils were puffy and the lightener had turned into water, leaving her hair extremely blonde in 15 minutes. We immediately pulled the foils from her head ( burning my fingers on how dang hot her hair had become) and rinsed the lightener out to stop the processing. Thank friggen gosh that it’s my sister and she was able to ride this rollercoaster with me and trusted my skill set to fix the situation. We switched to open air balayage without using any foil to ensure there wouldn’t be a chemical reaction. There were no issues with heat during the balayage but it definately prevented the hair from lifting bright enough to be the desired result. After rinsing out the balayage I went in and clarified her hair 3 TIMES with a hard water clarifying mixture to get everything and anything out. After this we added about 10 foils to the front of her head to break up the balayage and brighten it past that dull blonde that we were left with. FINALLY we added a secret layer of Blushy pink to give some fun dimension to her hair. The whole process took 5 and a half friggen hours....... lots of blood sweat and tears ... and lots of alcohol for her 😂😂 thank you sister for believing in me to fix what was happening and change the game plan completely before your hair was compromised. This was not only a lesson for me but should also be one for you guys! Be completely transparent with your stylist about where you live to make sure we can properly diagnose your hair and test for anything that will react negatively with color and cause your hair unwanted damage 🤘🏼

Maddie went natural 🤘🏼 ish .... we decided to deepen the blue by adding some black pigment to it to create a more natural look as she hunts for her big girl job 🤓anddd we changed up the cut a bit by taking weight out in a way that encourages that textured look 🤘🏼styled after with flat iron bends and wind tossed texture spray ✂️

🤘🏼our second time together, this time brightening up her hair more and more while breaking down some old permanent darker color in there. Fresh cut and curls to finish it off. Thank you Sammi for spending your afternoon with me 🙏🏼❤️✂️

Let those 8 minutes and 46 seconds change the trajectory of this country and world. Let us not just post about our support let us act upon it. Let us change our ways to be better, demand better and cause real change. Don’t stay hidden in your safe corners of the world and act like humans hurting humans doesn’t exist. Treat those in your community right, treat those in your country right. Treat those in your world RIGHT. Stand up for what is right. Change starts with small steps. Demand those around you to step up to the plate and be better.

1 year ago we had a brief moment of craziness where we colored hair copper 😱 (swipe for that photo). She kept it copper for a few days before texting me saying she wanted to go even darker red. So we glazed it darker red and never caught a photo of it. She kept it that way for a few weeks before running FULL force back into my chair to start the process of returning to blonde 🤣. 1 year and a lot of patience later we are finally back at a blonde that feels good and looks good! Changing your color IS possible but patience is required! We added a few custom colored tape in extensions with to spice up her blonde a bit without committing to applying that color to her real hair. Overall, I love Lisa and will always be down to chase her wildest hair dreams 🤘🏼💕 @ West Palm Beach, Florida

Everyone looks fierce in their pics lately 😍 this little number was a 3 hour project from Saturday that came out amazzzzzzing 🤘🏼I am so grateful for projects like these that make my brain go to work.
