Two more bars ready to go!!!
These are my rebatch bars that have turned out sooooo cool! Sometimes soap doesn’t turn out like you want it to but that doesn’t mean it’s a lost cause. These two loaves were cut down, remelted, remolded and recut. I dropped pieces of the original soap into the mixture when I put it into the mold and when I cut it it looks like little pieces of stained glass. Such a fun technique. It gives a rustic and natural feel to the soap. As more of you know, these will go fast, so if you’d like some Venmo me your payment to hold an order or stop by and grab them before they are gone!

Christmas cookie is a comforting mix of cinnamon sugar, mocha, thyme, nutmeg, and candied ginger.

Sunflower Sandalwood smells like sunflower, bergamot, cassis, verbena, lily, vetiver, sandalwood, amber, and musk.

Winter Weather Policy

I want to let all of my valued clients know what my expectations are regarding snow storms or forecasted inclement weather situations. My cancellation policy remains in effect during these times but I have tips to help you make your decision when these situations arise.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE DRIVING IN THE SNOW

I ask that you keep an eye on the weather forecast when you have an upcoming appointment and reschedule it with at least 48 hours of notice if, in general, you are concerned about driving in the snow. If you aren’t comfortable waiting to hear whether the system will develop into a storm warning, I recommend that you move your appointment just so you have peace of mind. REMEMBER: PLEASE GIVE ME AT LEAST 48 HOURS OF NOTICE TO AVOID ANY CANCELLATION FEES .
For those of you who are okay waiting as we get closer to the predicted day of inclement weather, feel free to keep your appointment in our schedule. I will void the policy during STORM WARNINGS and I will not charge cancellation fees for appointments that we reschedule due to the warning. However, if it’s just normal Michigan winter snow, I typically stay open and you can expect to be able to come in for your appointment. (DISCLAIMER: Please make your decision based on what you feel is safe and cancel if you feel it’s not in your best interest to drive on the roads even if it means you will be charged a fee.)

HOW TO AVOID CANCELLATION CHARGES

Ultimately, to avoid ANY CHANCE of being charged fees, your best bet is to take your appointment off my schedule when a storm is expected. Everyone is different and I want this to make sense for each individual person. If you have any other questions, I am more than happy to talk to you about all of this during your next visit.

These yummy holiday blends arrived today! I only have one of each available so act quickly if you’re interested.
I have Winter Spice diffusing in the salon today and it’s amazing! It’s a blend of Tangerine, Fir Needle, & Blasam Fir. It smells like a Christmas tree farm with fresh cut oranges.
Gingerbread is a warm spicy combination of Ginger, Cinnamon, Clove & Nutmeg and Candy Cane is a bright mix of Orange, Lemon, Spearmint and Frankincense. I think I’m going to add a little vanilla to this and it will be my next scent for tomorrow’s batch of lotion bars. Vanilla would be a delicious addition to the Gingerbread as well for those of you who like the sweeter scents for the holidays.

I have Lavender and Oat & Honey Goats milk soap available for sale! These first bars are labeled, cured and ready to be used. They are $5 a bar and can be purchased from my home (salon) during business hours or porch pick up. PM me your order.
