How on earth do you say "balayage"? More importantly what is it and why is everyone asking for this service?

If you could describe yourself with one word, what would it be? I’ll go first...espresso.

First of all, this is my favorite daily drink. It can be enjoyed straight up or mixed with milk and/or syrups. I'm probably best described as an iced latte with an extra shot and a dash of sugar. Anyone that knows me knows I prefer to be cold, hence the iced part. My personality is a bit bold however I try to balance it (milk). I can be a little bit spicy sometimes (extra shot) and always wear my heart on my sleeve (sugar). It can also be enjoyed with vodka as a martini during a night out with girlfriends which I can also relate to but I digress, that's another story for another day 🙃.

My family has always described me as “happy-go lucky” and “she’s our party girl” as my dad would say. I think my parents were a little concerned for my future when I was in high school because school was just not my thing. I was a C student at best 😬. I enjoyed going to school only to socialize with my friends (when I wasn’t skipping) and to find out where the next party was…sorry mom and dad! When I went to cosmetology school, I never missed a day and had straight A’s…it shocked everyone including myself! It honestly never felt like school and I never dreamed I would understand anatomy and chemistry but throw the fun of "hair" in it and VOLIA! Something clicked and I knew from there I was made for this industry. It was everything I wanted and more… not only was it acceptable to drink coffee all day, but it was a lot of fun and I got to be creative. I also got to spend most of my days at work hanging out with my friends, listening to music and meeting new people. What was there not to love?! 20 years ago my life changed in the most beautiful way and I’ve been heavily caffeinated and loving it ever since!
