I don’t speak about "religion" often (tho will on my upcoming 5th podcast episode of the Adult Santa Claus Effect)….however I do approach personal Spirituality as part of my comprehensive coaching program and it certainly is crucial to optimal holistic health AND I openly advocate for awareness on how religion is the most powerful weapon that controlling forces orchestrate upon We The People to divide us. Because of all this, I’ll keep this brief…

Today the ultimate Universal Truth- the timeless core principle of living a righteous life- rings out with piercing simplicity and corresponding intensity: “Love one another, as I have loved you.” With ‘I’ of course being Jesus or God, depending on how you think of it. Ultimately this concept is a foundation of anybody who believes in God, and it’s important to know that it applies to not just your words & actions- but also to what's in your hearts. Your heart is where Love truly originates & exists, and your words & actions are simply expressions from that origin.

In these days and years, it is important for each of us to consider how we daily live out this mission we’ve been called to by our God. Whether it be encountering people who do not have the same skin color as ours, or same gender, or same age group, or who may be atheists, or muslims, or hindus, or christians, or jews, or illegal immigrants, or Democrats, or Republicans, or Trump supporters or even Trump himself, or strangers, or friends, or even sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and so on and so on. We can point the finger at no one else, as ultimately we are accountable only to ourselves and to God, and therefore MUST BE determined to consistently act out this Universal Truth that unites us all...

This social event theme is “rest & recovery”, which is often overlooked during our fast paced pursuit of optimal health. “More is better”...”work harder”...”you can sleep when you’re dead!”...are all often phrases we hear during health journeys that ultimately misguide us away from the substantially important process of resting and recovering from stress and/or exercise.

During my coaching sessions, the moments that overwhelmingly make people the most quiet, the most reflective, and often the most emotional, is when they realize how much they are NOT being kind to themselves or NOT giving themselves credit for their efforts each day.

It is one of the most widespread issues across mental and holistic health circles right now…and yet is one of the easiest ones to address. It is more easy than ever in modern times to compare ourselves to others and feel inadequate to more “exciting lives”, “happy lives”, “beautiful lives”, etc. It can be so relentless to not receive validation or recognition from friends, family members, spouses, bosses…that we unknowingly fall in line and refrain from ever providing ourselves with that validation or recognition. But look at you- you’ve made it this far! 😀

I strongly encourage you to give yourself a break. Challenge yourself in a healthy way- most definitely pursue a life of personal growth- however be your best friend by both complimenting yourself and forgiving yourself when you fall short in life (which every human on earth is bound to do). Celebrate each success in your life, no matter how big or small…and frequently remind yourself that you’re doing the best you can. You deserve it.

Within this social media account, the old Kansas City Wellness Club account is getting repurposed for a new business that is working towards similar goals.

The Kansas City Wellness Club was a beautiful joyful brick & mortar wellness center, that exhausted all its resources to provide wellness for our community when our community needed it the most during the troubled CV years 2020-2024.

Fresh Choice KC is a wellness/nutrition/business coaching, corporate wellness consulting, and community building business- not a brick and mortar storefront. Almost 4 years since we initially launched the business (and 5 years since we signed a lease), unfortunately our capacity to sustain as a brick & mortar place has reached its reasonable limits.

Our intention is to persist as a grand connector to authenticity, facts, and natural based pathways that benefit local economies/communities, help you save time in your busy life, and make you more resilient to future adversity….so we do not see this as a sad ending, but instead as an admirable conclusion to a unique experiment, and excitement towards a natural evolution of a business whose goals are grand and who is pivoting to ensure that we can continue to serve you. There was no place like the Kansas City Wellness Club. The famous artist Prince always refused labels directed towards him or his musicianship. In some cosmic relation…so were our combination of offerings defined without edges and boundaries. We proved that the demand is out there for THAT. That infinite intermediary space that we created together in those sacred halls and rooms. That is where profound growth is found, where the best of your natural beauty exists, and where you are most open to challenge your core beliefs in order to gain that elusive spiritual awakening and self realization. 💯



Ultimately, remember how we are all active participants in the world that emerges around us, and no one is a passive witness. What a time it is to be alive right now, at this most historic moment in human civilization….and we remain determined to help guide you through it. We got this. ✔️💪
