Two things to consider when getting micro loc extensions1️⃣ the texture of the extension hair2️⃣ the density of the clients hair You have to match the extension to hair ratio with their natural density! Otherwise the extension will weight your clients hair down and can even cause tension.💫All extensions are NOT created equal. You really have to do your research for quality brands and vendors.💫Remember this is a semipermanent solution. 💫Extensions are for volume and length. As you loc, you will loc from root to end, in which case you should gradually cut/ take out your extensions. 💫I always suggest that you start with your natural hair. I understand the aesthetics of them, but I only suggest extensions if you absolutely have to, or have damaged areas. Needless to say; make sure your loctician is well educated on installing them. If we consider our selves industry Professionals— Who better to educate your client on their hair, than the person they trust, and pay to do their hair?

This client in particular has always worn her hair in short cuts/ fades.
Having this much hair on her head is completely new to her lol. All these things I KNEW from her original install date. With that in mind— she genuinely just didn’t know! We had a “keke” about it.

Now did I get in her tail? Also yes,(my clients know 🤣), but if she had communicated I could’ve scheduled the proper time in advance, and would’ve been better prepared for the repair at the time of service, and we talked about how to prevent this from happening again.

In this industry relationship building goes a long way. Customer retention will grow your business because people will do the marketing for you.
