We started with 6 months grow out and some home bangs. Pulled everything forward on top and created plenty of softness around the face to create the illusion of longer bangs! 🦋

Three years ago I took a class, that without exaggeration or hesitation- changed my life. I was struggling, overworked, uninspired and underpaid at a salon that did not align with my values. I had been following this wild person who did reiki with hair- I thought I wanted to add spiritualism to my method and I took a class with her on an insane whim. I went home and cried afterwards, and the next day I asked for a raise (and got it).
Now this class- The Alchemy of Change is being offered online and I implore all stylist friends to take it as soon as you can.
This class made me look at myself for the first time in my adult life and ask “what do I want” not because it told me what I want- but because it taught me it was possible whatever that was. It gave me the courage to break out of the way I was practicing my career and strike out as an independent.
The Alchemy of Change inspired me, allowed for creativity and experimentation, encouraged me to question the industry and in all honesty pushed me to go back to school!
Being an independent stylist has given me the gift of being able to hold to so many of my values that I truly could not keep where I was before.
