Hair 101 Hair Growth
How to have a healthy scalp that grows hair?
1. Health:
plays a big role in growing hair. Yearly doctor exams for your gender (male female) check up n physical, and if you see a specialist for other matters. All is needed to catch anything off balanced. or catch any health threatening diseases.
Why:
BC any Bio or ph imbalance can cause hair lost, medications can cause hair lost, stress can cause hair lost chemical changes in your body can cause hair lost, sickness can cause hair lost, and MOST TIMES HAIR LOST DONT HAVE TO HAPPEN IF A PLAN IS IN PLACE OR IF THINGS ARE CAUGHT IN TIME.
Solution:
Keep regular doc apt. specialists apt. n check ups. Prevention is the key........
2. Proper Nutrition:
plays a role in hair growth. Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, the proper proteins and grains with balance grows hair. And gives the nutrients to nurture the hair root when circulation moves rather exercising or massaging scalp. N lets not for get drinking enough water.
Why:
Our foods that we eat holds the vitamins to nurture healthy cell growth. Water keeps us hydrated helping things move like, our bowels our tears, urinating, sweating, Cleansing, moving nutrient and toxics. water also balances out ph. Also aid in blood circulation that carry nutrients.If we are living on a balanced meal plan with the nutrients we need as an individual and needed water it will keep our biochemicals balance for the proper functioning of organs. Your hair root is cells that needs nourishment.
Solution:
Talk with nutritionist who can create a plan to balance healthy nutritional meal plans for you with Macro foods (Solid foods) and Micro foods (juiced fruits n veges/ smoothies). Or get to doing your research from accredited resources on such matters. Now the gov. is not always reliable, even if their accredited.. Dont forget to learn side affects if any! Scientific Reviews are important. Greens can be powerful, such as wheat grass, all you need is a shot a serving! too much can be harmful to your kidneys. its a super detox.
3 Scalp Cleansing:
has an important role in hair growth. It depends on the perspiration of body oils n sweat in how often a person should cleanse their scalp. Cleansing keeps a habitat for healthy results.
Why:
Cleansing your scalp prevents disease(fungus, ringworms, ect), n parasites(lice) from building a nest on your scalp. Again as you massage your scalp while shampooing causes the blood to flow with good micro and macro foods nutrition that you ate to help hair growth with healthy hair and replenish your scalp with healthy cells. Cleansing prevents disease, n nurtures the scalp.
Solution:
Honestly, the scalp should not go past a week from cleansing. People have survived off two weeks, My experience the healthiest scalp go no longer than 1 week. Now some may cleanse every other day or so bc of sweating n oil perspirations. The more perspiration the more shampooing is needed.
Keeping a clean scalp aids in hair growth.
4 Scalp Conditioning/ Treatments:
Scalp conditioner, oils, and treatments aid in the growth of hair to keep the scalp with moisture, proper oils, and free from any sorts of abrasion.
Why:
There are many scalp treatments and conditioners for many problems. Getting the proper diagnose from stylist or dermatologist can help with what treatment is needed. There are moisture n hydrate treatments if the scalp is dry, Oil treatments if the scalp lacks oil; (mint, peppermint, n tea tree treatments to aid in abrasions, parasites, n fungus control). Also, today there are vitamins and hair growth ointment treatments applied directly to the scalp to help grow the hair, But none beats nutritional meals and healthy lifestyle.
Solution:
:get regular conditioning treatments, for scalp, if needed oil treatment, any moisture or hydrate treatments or parasite aids and prevention treatments to have or maintain an healthy scalp. Some are weekly needed, biweekly, monthly or every six weeks. Decision is up to results of how well treatments last or work.
5 Hair Cleansing:
Keep the hair cleansing is vital to hair growth. The hair should be cleansed as much as needed depending on activities or environments. The hair should be cleansed at least weekly. Cleansing keeps the hair strong and free from particles, chemical build up, and dryness. Cleansing is soooooooo important.
Why:
We go in many diffeent environments, some are construction workers, some work in chemical plants, some sweat, many put all types of product in the hair that get stale, our hair gets dry and need a soaking, there are just many reasons why we should cleanse our hair,, All these things can cause our hair to get dry and brittle if not remove in time or cleansed in time. Which causes damage and breakage to the hair. The hair needs reviving every now and then. the build up can cause it to get hard which make it easy to brake
Solution:
Real simple, cleanse weekly or as often as needed. Recommendation is not past 1 week. Keep excessive products and particles out of hair. Protect hair if have to work in bad conditions.
6 Hair Conditioning/ Treatment: There are many treatments for many hair needs.
Hair Conditioning and treatments are good for the hair shaft to aid in hair growth, strength, hydration, moisture, conditioning n prevention of disease and parasites. These treatments keep the hair on your head and make it to where it can be managed.
Why:
If you want your hair to grow conditioning treatments are needed to protect and nurture the hair shaft. Conditioning treatments such as kera/protien conditioners fuses are good for strengthening, moisture fuses are good for giving moisture to the hair so it can be manageable, prevent the shaft from dryness/brittleness, n keep hair from looking dull. Volumizing conditioners to give add to make thin hair look thick with body. Conditioners for hair colors to keep the hair color vibrant. And those for parasites and diseases to prevent such from happening or aid in killing or curing.
Solution:
With the help of a dermatologist or beautician find the conditioning treatments that will work for your personal need. Stick to the plan. Conditioning, deep conditioning, and treatments are needed every time you wash, weekly, biweekly, monthly, no longer than six weeks or every six weeks.
7 Regular Trims:
Hair trims are vital to the growth of the hair shaft.
Why:
The shaft gets split from daily handling and normal wear and tear. The shaft is able to split all the way to the root if avoided. (Those people who hair grows but never get long.) Cutting these splits off the shaft keeps the hair growing and from further splitting from handling.
Solution:
Trim every six weeks or as needed.
8 Exercise:
Excercise aids in hair growth bc of cardio workouts, stretching and weight lifting.
Why:
Staying fit helps in quick turn over of cell replication. Cardio helps in circulation which helps in transit of nutrients. Weight lifting keeps tissue firm and vibrant all over. Stretching relieve stresses throughout the body n mind. Remember stress causes hair lost.
Solution:
1 hour, no less than 3 days a week exercise plan the includes cardio, weightlifting, and stretching.
9 Products:
Doctor miracle is not the answer, all the fad products and voodoo ointments are not the answer. A professional Brand like Paul Mitchell, Mizani, Fantastic Sams, Kera Care, Bio Silk, just to name a few are good products with variety of shampoos and conditioners bc the hair n scalp adaptions to products. If get a Hot Oil treatment oiling the scalp is not needed.
Why:
BC all that fancy stuff like doctor miracle is not needed. Our on hair food is n what we eat and how we live. hair health is all n how we handle our hair. Proper combing starting from the ends with a big padded wig brush that can get as many tangles as possible. it dont take much.
Solution:
A good shampooing while massaging to work your own bodies hair food from proper nutrition meal plans through circulation to hair roots.
A good detangling Shampoo and Conditioner for hair need and type.
Hot Oil Treatment for those who lack oil production of scalp.
A light conditioning oil for hair if worn down so body n bounce can flow. I like BioSilk, Silk Therapy or Fantastic Sams light oil.
If worn in braids argon, shea butter oils or like so.
A good deep condition for need as needed.
