Hey, it’s Julie here just checking in and letting you all know that our boss and coworker Amy Marvel passed away from cancer on May 6, 2023.
Our hearts our broken and if you all didn’t already know Shear Impressions is now closed after almost 43 years.
I personally want to thank each and every one of you who have send well wishes and prayers or just good juju!
I’m extremely lucky to have worked at a job for 43 years with some of the same coworkers that whole time. I’m also grateful to all my clients who graced my chair every 4 to 6 weeks. I will miss all of you and I thank you for your patronage from the bottom of my heart.
I know some of you I will still see and others I won’t but I want you each to know how special every single one of you are to me💕

Just jumping on here real quick to let everyone know a few things that are going on. I’ve been getting some messages and calls about our salon being closed or that we are closing.
We are not closed and have no plans to close at this time. While many of you already know Amy has been diagnosed with cancer.
She is currently going through chemotherapy and is tolerating the treatments very well. While none of us ever know what the future holds, with prayers and medical intervention our hope is she will be back at work in the future. Until then Pat and Ann and I are still working and doing the best we can to accommodate all of Amy’s clients as well as our own. I ask for your patience in booking your appointments because we are working as much as we can and we will continue to try our best to accommodate all of you.
