The thing about lip blush is that no one would ever know it’s there. 💋

Think about it. How many lip tattoos can you actually point out? Probably very few.

Healed lip blush results are incredibly soft and natural. Most people would never know it was done unless you told them.

Another thing that hangs people up is color choice. The great thing about lip blush is that the pigment can be customized to complement your natural lip tone. Some of my clients even come in every 6–8 months to switch up their color. As the pigment fades, it gradually returns to your natural lip color.

It’s one of the most natural ways to enhance your lips. Unlike filler, which can migrate and sometimes requires dissolving, lip blush simply enhances what’s already there. Your natural lip color still shows through, creating a healthy, youthful, more defined appearance without looking overdone.

Microblading gone wrong 😣 and unfortunately this is something I see far too often.

These strokes were implanted way too deep into the skin, causing the lines to blur and blow out over time. The pigment has also shifted gray after sitting in the skin for years. 🩶 At this depth, the only real solution is laser removal in order to safely start over.

This is after just ONE laser session ✨ and already a huge improvement, but cases like this do require multiple sessions to fully remove the old pigment.

The good news: there is very little downtime with laser removal 🙌 What you see immediately after treatment is typically the most irritated the skin will look before healing settles in.

One of the biggest misconceptions about microblading is that if it looks good initially, it was done correctly. In reality, many poor results don’t show up until years later. The gray discoloration, blurred strokes, and shape distortion happen gradually over time, most commonly from too much pressure with the blade and pigment being placed too deep into the skin.

Because microblading is performed manually with a handheld blade rather than a machine, there is far less consistency and regulation across the industry. Proper education, training, and technique matter tremendously. 👏

Nano combo brows are one of my favorite techniques because they give the soft, natural look people love from microblading but with better longevity and more versatility for different skin types. ✨

Unlike traditional microblading, nano brows are created with a machine using an ultra fine needle to implant pigment into the skin with precision and less trauma. This allows me to create realistic hair strokes while being much gentler on the skin. Because of that, nano brows are a great option for all skin types, including oily, mature, textured, or sensitive skin that may not heal as well with traditional microblading.
