Dear Valued Clients,

I hope this message finds you well.

As many of you already know, I will be closing King’s Domain as of May 23rd, 2026. This decision comes as a result of a career shift for my husband, Hervé which is leading our family in a new direction.

This is not an easy goodbye. So many of you have been with me for nearly two decades and your loyalty, trust, and support have meant more to me than words can truly express. I’ve taken some of your children from booster seats to college graduation & then into parenthood! It has been an absolute honor to serve you, to build genuine relationships, and be a part of your lives.

Thank you for allowing me to do what I love every single day. Thank you for giving me grace, and an opportunity to keep growing into the woman I am today. I will truly miss our time together, our conversations, and the community we’ve built.

If you have any questions or would like to pop in for a formal goodbye, you know how to reach me! I will still be in the shop as typically scheduled up until the very last client on the very last day(likely sobbing).
I am also taking this opportunity to refer out to barbers & stylists who are hard working, talented, and reliable. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, as I am happy to help in any way I can during this transition.

King’s Domain is participating in a Blanket Drive this winter & is the official drop off point! I’ve heard this saying my entire career. From my Dad, coworkers, friends, even clients. I am currently in the midst of learning my lesson; I am mad at myself for not listening, irritated at the timing, and also eager to rest & heal. My shoulder has been presenting some discomfort for weeks now & while I thought my vacation would be enough rest, I returned to work last week with the worst shoulder pain I’d ever experienced. Pushed through last Tuesday thinking I’d make it to my Thursday appt for a cortisone shot- I did make it through the work day, barely. Fighting tears. Left work & headed to the ER to be told I have calcific tendinitis & frozen shoulder. I have, am, and will be canceling appts until this pain is gone & my orthopedic doctor clears me for work. I’ll be at the shop as much as I can, sweeping & checking clients out to help Denise manage the heavier load. Prayers are appreciated, as I was not prepared to miss all the little guys’ back to school cuts.

WE ARE SO THANKFUL 8 YEARS! Those who amhave been with us since day 1, know this was scary, BUT GOD IS GOOD!!!
