I am SO proud to announce that, Parker’s Body Bar is moving!! 📦➡️
But don’t worry, it’s only about 2 minutes away from my previous location! 😉

When I first opened Parker’s Body Bar at the end of 2020.. I was filled with high spirits, but also a fair amount of uncertainty. Shortly after that, I gained some momentum, began trusting myself from within, and started to see growth.
Trusting the process.
Which then lead to me gaining all the wonderful clients that are with me today.
Those same loyal clients who took a chance on me, plus my continued efforts, and most importantly, never giving up on myself.. filled me with hope & the drive to continue to follow my dreams of being an independent esthetician, who specializes in full body waxing.

Now, here we are in 2026..
& I have to pinch myself!
I’ve been on a mission for the last couple of years for things to come into alignment, for the “next right step”, looking to show personal growth and progress, as your trusted waxer.

With that being said, I absolutely cannot wait for you all to see the new shop! 🤩
It’s been a whirlwind ride over the last few weeks, but I’m so grateful for every single second of it..
To start something that truly feels like mine, something that really feels like my “home away from home”, is a feeling I can’t quite grasp.

Thank you to ALL existing and future clients, who are coming along with me for this journey.
Without my beloved clients, and their support, this would not be possible.
So, THANK YOU.🦋 I truly feel blessed to share this new experience with you all.

Last, but certainly not least..
I wanted to give the MOST LOVING, shout out to Michael Ree, he has been my absolute rock throughout this entire time.
There will never be enough words to express how it feels to have a partner, who is just as dedicated as I am, who put his whole heart into this new chapter with me.. spending many, MANY hours and late nights with me to plan, create, and help my vision come to fruition. There is absolutely nothing that he wouldn’t do for me, including.. keeping me grounded through this transition. ☯️

I’d also like to thank my mom, Keely Brown, for always believing in me, loving me, and always being there to answer any and all of my questions,
to guide me when I am unsure.. no matter how old I get. 😜
This thank you would not be complete without thanking my brother Zach Brown for helping us move some furniture into the space.
Also, to my sister in law, Reagan Brown, for making my signage for the front door.
And Hilary Matter, thank you for taking a chance on me at the Salon Suites.. that was where it all started, especially in terms of me “being on my own” and I’ll never forget it, or you.
I cherish the relationship and friendship we have built over the last few years.

They say teamwork makes the dream work.. but having family and a spouse that gives this kind of support, without question, has me feeling so very loved.

Just wanted to drop in to say a BIG thank you to all who are still here with me in 2025!
And also to announce that there will be a couple of changes starting, May 1st, 2025.

Over the last few years of being in the waxing industry, I’ve strived to keep things affordable and convenient for everyone.. however, with that being said, Parker’s Body Bar will be changing their hours of service, along with a price increase on some services.

With this announcement, I would like to reiterate that I appreciate each and every one of you that find value in what I do, and for supporting me when you are able.
I know times are tough on everyone right now, so it means even more to me that you all find a way to keep waxing services in your budget.

My hopes are to continue to provide quality services to all of my clients, who over time, have inevitably turned into what I consider my “wax family”.
Without your continued support and loyalty, I would not be able keep doing what I love! 🖤

I wanted to share a quick update with everyone regarding my second hip surgery.
If you are a client of mine, please take the time to read everything below ⬇️

The second surgery went great & I’m healing well! ❤️‍🩹
However, to ensure I heal completely & correctly.. I have some physical restrictions to follow strictly!
The main one being, that I am not allowed to put more than 50% of my weight on my surgery side, meaning.. I will be needing to continue to use a walker for around 6 more weeks. ☹️

On the bright side! Once I am cleared to bear full weight, I will be able to start outpatient PT & slowly return to work. 🤩
Even though this is definitely not the time frame I was hoping for.. this is the best thing I can do for myself, my health, & the future of my business.
I trust my team of health professionals and need to listen to their guidelines/restrictions.

My first hip surgery went great! 🙌🏼
I had my 8 week post op appointment today and my surgeon had all good news for me.
He is happy with how I’m doing and how things are healing.
However, I’m still “in the thick of healing” as my surgeon put it..
Due to me having some restrictions still for about another month, I will be needing to take things at a slower pace until my next surgery, which is taking place December 19th, 2023.

With that being said, I will be working with reduced hours & services until my healing is complete!

This is a reminder and notice that I will be having total hip replacement surgery this year!

•Hip replacement #1 of 2 is scheduled for September 12th, 2023.
•Hip replacement #2 is scheduled for December 19th, 2023.
*This will mean around a 6 week recovery period, per hip.*

Unfortunately, that means I will be unable to provide any services during that time.
I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to my existing clients and any potential clients.

~ So what does that mean for the people needing a wax before I’m able to return?
Don’t worry!
If needed, I would love to help you get in touch with another trusted and licensed wax professional!

~ For everyone else:
I will have to be cleared by my surgeon in order to safely return to work.
