What actually happens after your first Fascial Counterstrain session?
Most people get off the table feeling lighter, more relaxed, and calmer than they have in a long time. Some people feel that way after the very first session and it surprises them more than anything else.
But the next 24 to 48 hours can look different for everyone.
Some people feel energized. Some feel exhausted. Some get a headache. Some feel like they just ran a marathon without leaving the table.
None of that is bad. All of it means your body is responding.
When inflammation that has been stuck for months or years starts to drain and shift your body feels it. That is not a side effect. That is the process working.
Drink water. Rest if your body asks for it. Skip the alcohol and the intense workout for 24 hours.
And then pay attention to how you feel.
Because the most common thing I hear the next day is some version of this: I feel better than I have in a long time.
That part never gets old.
Save this if you have a session coming up. Share it with someone who has been on the fence about booking.

Why does Fascial Counterstrain actually work?
Let me break it down as simply as I know how.
Your fascia is like a giant web running through your entire body. Every nerve, every muscle, every organ, every vessel. Even your brain. One continuous connected web.
When that web gets a kink, from injury, stress, surgery, or trauma, it pulls on everything connected to it. Which is why the source of your pain is almost never where you feel it.
Here is what makes it chronic.
The body sends inflammatory chemicals to the kinked area to try to fix it. Those chemicals are supposed to drain out through your lymphatic system. But your lymphatic drainage pathways run through your fascia. So when the fascia is kinked and contracted those pathways get compressed.
The chemicals cannot drain. They stay. They keep signaling pain. Your nervous system keeps guarding. The guarding keeps the fascia tight. The tight fascia keeps blocking the drainage.
Round and round.
That cycle is called interstitial inflammatory stasis. It does not show up on your MRI. But it shows up every single day in how you feel.
Fascial Counterstrain finds exactly where the kink is living and gently releases it. The drainage pathways open. The inflammation drains. The nervous system quiets.
We are not masking it. We are not managing it.
We are physically draining the inflammation that has been stuck in your fascia.
That is why it works.

The thing I end up treating is almost never the thing you came in for.
Back pain coming from the kidney. Plantar fasciitis being driven from the spine. TMJ pain originating in the head and neck. Sciatic pain coming from the bladder or digestive system.
In every single case treating the symptom gives temporary relief at best.
Because the symptom is not the problem. It is just where the problem decided to show up.
This is why the assessment matters more than the complaint.
And this is why so many people spend years treating the same thing without ever getting lasting results.
The source has not been found yet.
Has your pain ever turned out to be coming from somewhere unexpected? Tell me in the comments.

There is a difference between pain management and pain resolution. And most people have only ever experienced one of them.
Management keeps you coming back for the same treatment for the same problem indefinitely. It works temporarily. But if the root cause was never found the pain will always return.
Resolution looks different every session because the body is being followed deeper toward the actual source. It may take time or it may happen quickly. But each session builds on the last instead of repeating it.
If you have been treating the same thing over and over and getting the same temporary result, something is missing.
You deserve more than management.
Swipe through to see exactly what the difference looks like and why it matters for your healing.

Not all fascial work is created equal.
Most approaches work directly on tight tissue. Fascial Counterstrain works on what is driving the tissue to tighten in the first place.
The diagnostic system. The indirect technique. The ability to reach the nervous system directly.
Three things that make this work unlike anything most people have tried before.
Swipe through to see exactly how it works and why it gets to places other modalities simply cannot reach.
Then tell me in the comments what you tried before you found this. I want to hear your story.
