New Year - New Appointments…

It’s 2023! A new year that I’m sure will be filled with many amazing adventures.

At J’s Hair Salon, we do our best to make every moment count and that your appointment time is catered to your needs. We just wanted to take a minute to give you a few pointers on how to make every appointment flow smoothly and efficiently!

- REMINDERS: Did you know, we offer text and email reminders when you make your appointments in advance? Texts are sent 2 days before and emails the day before a scheduled appointment. If you’re already getting these reminders, great! If not, let your stylist know so they can add your info to your profile. If you make appointments for multiple family members (children, spouse…), be sure that the contact information is added to their profiles as well.

- MAKE APPOINTMENTS BEFORE YOU LEAVE: Although it isn’t necessary, a great way to be sure you are able to get in when you’re ready for an appointment is to make your next one before you leave the salon. It is a lot easier to get you in weeks ahead of time vs days before. Even if you needed to change an appointment, it is easier for us to switch you with someone else than to squeeze you in with short notice.

- ARRIVE ON TIME: Things happen, we get it! If you’re going to arrive after your scheduled appointment, please let us know, as it could negatively impact our schedule for the rest of the day. We do our best to make sure every minute of our day is on track so you won’t have to wait on us.

- SEND INSPIRATION PICS EARLY: Let’s say you’re feeling a little spunky and want to change it up… let us know early, so we can be sure to schedule enough time to give your hair the attention it requires. Plus, if it’s something that can not be achieved in one appointment, we can let you know what to expect for that particular look.

- LEAVE A MESSAGE: It’s no secret that we all stay pretty busy at the salon. That also means it’s hard to keep up with messages. If you prefer to call, and we do not answer, please leave a voicemail with your first and last name, what service you would like to get done, who your stylist is, and your availability. The same is great for text messages. If you message us, and have not heard from us by the end of the day, feel free to message us again. Our phone does not stop ringing and it’s easy for us to look over a message or get side tracked before answering.

The holidays are literally right around the corner. We all have so many things to be thankful for, and we never want to take that for granted.

This year, J’s Hair Salon will be partnering with the Rotary Club in KM to help with their backpack program. EVERY WEEK, the Rotary Club makes up backpacks with basic, individually wrapped foods for kids in our local elementary schools to take home so they will have food outside of school hours.

If you want to be part of this amazing program, you can drop off your food items at J’s Hair Salon or bring them to your next hair appointment to receive 20% off all retail products! If you would like to make a monetary donation, please let us know! Tax credit can be given and the Backpack Program is ongoing and will continue throughout the school year!
