May is Melanoma Awareness Month 🖤

Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, but when caught early, it is highly treatable.

Knowing the ABCDEs of melanoma can help you recognize warning signs early:

🔹 Asymmetry – one half doesn’t match the other
🔹 Border – edges are irregular, blurred, or uneven
🔹 Color – multiple shades within one spot
🔹 Diameter – larger than 6mm (but melanomas can be smaller!)
🔹 Evolving – any mole or spot that changes in size, shape, color, or symptoms

Melanoma can affect anyone, regardless of age or skin tone.

Your skin tells a story. If a spot looks different, changes over time, or simply doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and get it checked. 🖤
