To anyone who has been checking in on this page to see if they could find me, I apologize for the lack of communication/information.

I Didn’t ever quite settle into a location in which I felt
comfortable in as a long term home . Most of you know that I do not move around a lot.

Then Covid hit. Salons were closed. Yoga studios were closed & at home virtual learning became the norm for our kids, (my daughter is now 14, & a freshman at Juanita High school). As a lot of you know, this had a huge impact on our kids, to the extent that we are barely beginning to realize the effects already, as well as the effects that we will uncover for years to come.(not all of them bad.)

Anyway, times were tough, things are still not back to “normal” & frankly, I don’t think they ever will be.
This is not necessarily a bad thing. This “New” Normal has been good in some ways too. Technology not necessarily used by many , is now something that has become a part of our normal day to day lives..
I personally found myself doing some soul searching. I began to wonder what I wanted to “Design” my life to be personally & professionally.

As far as professionally goes, I found that I miss doing hair, as well as my yoga practice..
First off, when referring to doing hair again, I can’t imagine not. It is a huge part of who & what I am, & I miss it & my clients immensely.

I am trying to figure out the best way to go about this, being as there has been a period of time where I was not working “in Salon” & only doing hair on-site & in my home . This has been the first lapse in time I have ever had since the beginning of my career!

I know that I enjoy working in an open Salon environment without walls &’ being able to bounce ideas & share the energy of everyone involved.
A lot of you have reached out & have been patient. So, just so you know, I am getting very close to coming back .
I spent a lot of time & energy learning how to fix some issues that had been impeding me in the past. I know how important all of our time is & as much as I get.involved & remain present within my appointment times, please know that I am completely respectful of you’re time.. Though all of you know that I never was one to “Rush” an appointment….it is also important for my clients to feel confident that they can get out & get back to they’re daily schedules in a timely fashion. This was Often a struggle for me due to making sure everything was as perfect as possible & enjoying conversation. Many hours have been spent to ensure that you can get through in a timely fashion. I just love you guys all so much & have genuinely been interested in what is going on with each and every one of you.

Any thoughts, questions, concerns, ideas, advice would only be considered deeply appreciated. Feel free!
Feedback is also important as I decide where I am going to land in a more permanent location.
